Job Location: 1905 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, WI 54401

Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt (hourly)

Hours: This position will rotate Saturday morning on-call responsibilities. Work hours are normal business hours 8:00-5:00, M-F with routine before or after-hour efforts to perform upgrades. Occasionally during the year, weekend hours will be necessary for system changes and upgrades.

Job Summary:

Provide technical support to end users and administration for the bank's data processing, loan origination, and related banking systems. Ensure compliance to bank policies, resolution of support issues and accuracy of information to internal and external customers. Work directly with the Information Technology team and assist with cross-functional support of IT applications and systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support, management, and configuration of loan servicing and origination platforms
  • Cross-functional support of deposit, electronic banking, and other bank systems
  • Manages and ensures proper installation and configuration of systems for daily operation of the bank
  • Communicate application changes resulting from upgrades, patches, or regulatory requirements
  • Provides technical expertise to assist and support bank personnel with general use of the various banking systems and technology
  • Answer and resolve Help Desk related phone calls and electronically generated tickets
  • Works directly with vendors to research and resolve technical issues
  • Manages and implements new software, system parameter changes and user security
  • Documents standards and procedures, providing this and other information to examiners and auditors
  • Preparation and processing of month-end, year-end and tax reporting data
  • Develop and conduct technical training for end-users regarding new features, system parameters and capabilities of line-of-business (LOB) applications and systems
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, agency, and internal policies and procedures
  • Coordinate project tasks and progress with the project team, departments within the company, and outside entities, as needed
  • Develop and maintain system, installation, and configuration standards and documentation
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts initiated via electronic request
  • Assist project teams with deploying annual product releases and major updates

Desirable education, experience and skills:

  • Requires a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration and/or 2 years' experience in a data processing or technical support role
  • Two years of experience working with Loan Origination Systems, such as Calyx Point
  • Knowledge of commonly used practices, procedures and concepts related to Real-Estate and Consumer Lending
  • Requires a basic level of technical systems expertise
  • Requires moderate knowledge of end user application, operating systems and banking applications
  • Prior bank systems or operations experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills in working with others to resolve system issues.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
  • Must be logical and detail-oriented
  • Basic level of report-writing experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with basic IT Help Desk related concepts and practices a plus
