Job Location: 1905 Stewart Avenue, Wausau WI 54401

Status: Full-time, Exempt (salary)

Hours: Workday is normally 8-5pm, Monday Friday, expected to work the hours needed to meet job performance expectations

Job Summary:

Develop the long-term strategic plans for the functions of loan and deposit account servicing, data processing, network management, information systems, item processing, e-banking and reconciliation and call center activities to align with the bank's overall strategic objectives. Oversee the loan and deposit operations and IT to ensure service excellence to internal and external customers, effectiveness and efficiencies in operations and procedures. Ensure the integrity and privacy of customers' information and compliance to government regulations. Member of the senior leadership team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing leadership, management and supervision to the Deposit and Loan Operations, Call Center and IT departments.
  • Ensure the operations of the bank supports the needs of the retail and commercial customers, customer account information is accurately processed and reported, and legal and regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Serve as a primary project management leader over projects jointly impacting various bank wide departments to ensure major process improvements and/or systems conversions meet desirable goals.
  • Analyze the needs of the individual bank departments and establish priorities for systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the bank's operational or information processing systems or procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic technology plan for the entire organization, recommending optimal technology solutions to solve problems, secure information, and better serve customers.
  • Oversees and responsible for the security of all information managed by the Bank using best practices regarding security, data integrity and reporting.
  • Manage and maintain a business continuity plan for all technology, and be responsible for the back-up and security systems.
  • Manage the bank's relationships with third party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, reliability, flexibility and cost control consistent with strategic plan and business objectives.
  • Maintain proper documentation of processes and procedures to meet compliance requirements and business continuity needs.

Desirable education, experience and skills:

  • Experience in managing deposit and loan operations and bank information technology applications and teams.
  • Requires high level knowledge of banking, management operations and information technology typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Computer Science and 7-10 years of related banking experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the financial services business and the capabilities of the systems available to support the business.
  • Working knowledge of database management, intranet and internet, PCs, hardware, software, LANs, WANs, data conversions and telecommunications.
  • Leadership or project management of major service or data conversions including direct merger and acquisition conversion experience.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills that produce results through planning, execution collaboration and accountability.
  • Strong project management, team building and communication skills.
  • Analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities.
